Binance CEO CZ Fights FUD Amidst False Claims of Being on Interpol’s Red Notice List

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) is denying claims that he is on Interpol’s red notice list. As we know, the doctored photo circulating on Twitter shows CZ’s picture on Interpol’s website, creating fear, uncertainty, and doubt about Binance’s legal troubles. Hence, CZ is attempting to combat this misinformation and clarify that he is not on Interpol’s red notice list.
CZ Denies Interpol Red Notice List Rumors and Urges Against False Speculation
As we know, Binance’s CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has denied that he is on Interpol’s red notice list, and he believes that the photo on Twitter that shows him on the list is fake.
CZ also says that there is little chance of a leak from Interpol. It is worth noting that the crypto influencer named Cobie started the rumor by sharing an encrypted message on Twitter, but she claims that it was just a forecast and that no one should have been able to read it. Hence, CZ is advising people to ignore unverified rumors and speculation about the situation.
“Have posted SHA256 hash of rumors more than twenty times in the previous year without the secret being exposed – the purpose of a hash commitment scheme is that nobody is intended to be able to read them until after the secret is revealed.”
It should be noted that the red notice is a global request from Interpol to arrest someone who is wanted for extradition or similar legal action. It is sent to law enforcement agencies worldwide, but it is not an arrest warrant and does not determine guilt or innocence. The notice is meant to facilitate the legal process and temporarily arrest the person until the legal proceedings are complete.
