The Shiba Burn Tracker estimates that about 83 billion SHIB will be burned in 2022, indicating a visible decrease. The burn rate has considerably decreased by 2022. Shiba Inu burn rates have fallen substantially over time, dropping by 99% from a peak of 31 billion in May 2022 to just 661 million in November 2022. With less than a week remaining in December and just 300 million SHIB burnt, Shiba Inus are in for a rough month.

Burnt SHIB, which just reached its six-month low, sells for $715,000 on December 22. Although a large amount, it only represents 0.015% of the Shiba Inu’s market value at the moment. Half of the Shiba Inu supply would need to be used at this rate, which would take another 50,000% price surge and more than 3,300 years.

On the other side, the number of SHIB holders has increased by more than 2,000 during the last two days. Meanwhile, the meme currency has risen to the top ten assets sought after by the most active Ethereum investors.

By December 21, the number of SHIB holders had increased by 1,100, reaching a total of 1,268,573. Because of this, the number of SHIB holders has gone up by about 2,100 in the last two days.

SHIB Burn Portal’s Return

The best burning month for SHIB ever was May of this year. At the same time, the ShibaSwap burn site was developed, a platform that paid users passive income for burning their Shiba Inu tokens.

Since there is no burn tax and the 5% cut of Shiba Eternity revenues used for burning has not yet had an impact, the burn portal could be the solution to improving the Shiba Inu burn rate in 2023.

The Number of SHIB Holders Jumps to 2,100

A SHIB-themed account tweeted that the number of SHIB holders increased by 1,100, reaching a total of 1,268,573 by December 21. However, the well-known wallet tracker WhaleStats, which additionally offers on-chain analytics data on the most well-liked currencies, has shown that in the previous day, the total number of Shiba Inu holders climbed and is currently 1,269,760.

Consequently, approximately 2,100 more SHIB holders have been added to the total during the last two days.

SHIB Regarded As Top Purchased Crypto

Shiba Inu coin has again made the top 10 list of cryptocurrencies that were most frequently purchased in the last 24 hours, according to a recent tweet from the aforementioned WhaleStats.

Along with SHIB, prominent tokens like APE, UNI, BAT, and a few more are also included on that list.
