MSU Federal Credit Union has promoted Benjamin Maxim to Chief Technology Officer. In this new role, he will guide the credit union’s work in technology, digital tools, and product growth. Maxim has been with the credit union since 2007 when he worked as a web developer. Over the years, he has taken on several leadership roles across tech and product teams. MSUFCU said his early work in web design helped shape how the credit union built better tools for members.
Maxim To Lead Efforts To Expand MSUFCU’s Digital Services
One of Maxim’s key projects was launching The Lab at MSUFCU, where new ideas are tested and improved. The credit union said this space helps teams explore new tools like fintech and artificial intelligence. It also supports smarter ways to solve real problems for credit union members.
Maxim will now lead efforts to grow MSUFCU’s digital services and long-term tech plans. He will focus on digital security, useful design, and finding new ways to serve members online. MSUFCU said this is part of a larger effort to grow smarter, faster digital tools for the future.
In addition to his new CTO role, Maxim works as the Chief Operating Officer at Reseda Group. MSUFCU said this group helps bring credit unions and fintech together. As COO, Maxim leads strategy, sales, and product work, helping the group support new ideas in finance.
Reseda Group is known for building strong partnerships with fintech companies. MSUFCU said Maxim’s work helps connect these new tools with credit unions that want to stay ahead. The goal is to help members get more value from their financial services.
Maxim Is Focused On Expanding The Credit Union’s Technology
Maxim said he is honored to take on the CTO role and looks forward to growing the credit union’s technology. He added that the chance to lead both innovation and product gives him the tools to support smarter member solutions. He also shared how proud he is to help shape the future of MSUFCU.
MSUFCU President and leader April Clobes praised Maxim’s promotion and said he brings strong knowledge and leadership. She revealed that his understanding of tech and credit union values is what sets him apart. She believes he will help the credit union move forward while staying true to its mission.
Maxim holds a degree from Michigan State University and a certificate in innovation from Stanford. MSUFCU said he has received several awards, including being named 2024 Professional of the Year by the Michigan Credit Union League. His background shows strong support for new ideas in finance.
The credit union’s goal is to stay a step ahead in digital banking. MSUFCU said Maxim’s promotion is a key part of that plan. As the world of finance grows more digital, his work will help members feel confident, secure, and supported.
