MetaTrader 5 is now supporting over 40 new payment methods across different regions. Some of the new methods include local banking systems and popular digital wallets. According to the trading platform, it is looking to offer different transaction options across several global markets.

MetaTrader5 updated the number of payment options it offers, noting that the new payment options cover several regions across the world. The methods will complement traditional payment methods such as wire transfers and bank cards.

Each Region Has Unique Payment Options They Can Use

For example, MetaTrader says users in China can use the Alipay platform to gain access to digital wallets while those in Indonesia can use Alfamart for their payments. Users in Poland can use BLIK to carry out digital payments using shortcodes. On the other hand, an invoice-based payment system, Boleto, can be used by users in Brazil to make their digital asset payments.

In Malaysia, users can use DuitNow to make their payments. The platform gives users access to QR codes and instant bank transfers. MetaTrader5 has also provided options for users dealing with cryptocurrencies. They can use Binance Pay to enable users to make payments using cryptocurrencies.

MT5 also supports mobile wallets like MoMo in Vietnam and OVO in Indonesia. This reflects the increasing dependency on mobile payment methods, especially in Southeast Asia.

Also, the MyBank platform gives European users the benefit of making direct bank transfers while the SEPA system is available for Eurozone transfers.

The MT5 platform is increasingly gaining popularity among trading platforms. The MT4 platform is still in use, but its popularity is gradually fading because of the additional customized features the MT5 platform offers. Recently, Bybit stated that it will be integrating the MT5 platform for CFD, forex, and digital assets trading.

MetaQuotes Has Improved Users’ Features But Still Faces Challenges

Bybit will be featuring competitive fees and liquidity on the new platform. The company is offering perpetual crypto access with leverage options and minimal spreads.

The CFD trading allows traders to speculate on commodity prices such as oil and gold without holding the assets. Additionally, users can now enjoy the features of forex trading on Bybit’s platform.

The MetaTrader5 platform was launched by MetaQuotes earlier in May this year. The platform offers resources for developers and analytical tools for traders. The platform comes with several features, including analytical tools and ChatGPT.

Despite these new developments, MetaQuotes has also faced some challenges on the way. The firm was called out early this year when users in India were unable to access the platform. The report showed that the Google Play Store in India blocked access to the platform in the region.
