INGOT Brokers has welcomed two former BDSwiss leaders: Marios Morfakis as Head of Business Development and Andreas Andreou as Chief Sales Officer. Based on their LinkedIn profiles, the two executives left BDSwiss last September, a time when many other workers also departed from the broker.
After leaving BDSwiss, Andreou rolled out a prop trading platform where he works as co-Chief Executive Officer. He shared that he will keep his position at the prop trading company along with his new duties at INGOT.
Andreou Confirmed His INGOT Role Will Not Affect thePropTrade’s Operations
According to Andreou, thePropTrade is and will stay fully active. He added that his new job at INGOT Brokers does not affect the firm operations. Andreou further noted that thePropTrade was created and is managed by experienced professionals with a strong setup, and he will continue to give helpful ideas and guidance when needed.
The other co-Chief Executive Officer of the trading platform is Md Hazly, who earlier worked as Regional Manager at HF Markets, where Andreou also served. The proprietary firm currently has eight team members in important areas like operations, graphic design, marketing, and education.
Andreou talked about his role at INGOT, noting that with his long experience and clear vision, he will lead projects to grow INGOT Brokers’ global reach, build strong partnerships, and boost business in different markets.
Based in Jordan, INGOT Brokers manages much of its offshore operations from its office in Seychelles. The company also has licenses in South Africa, Australia, and Kenya. Andreou will concentrate on helping INGOT grow in new markets, especially in Africa, LATAM, and Asia. While Andreou lives in Dubai, Morfakis assumed his new role in Limassol, Cyprus.
Former BDSwiss Employees Are Taking Important Roles At Other Brokers
Morfakis formerly served as Global Head of Sales at BDSwiss for close to two years and spent four months as Head of Sales at FXGrow. His work history also includes jobs at HF Markets and Wintrado Technologies.
According to earlier reports, BDSwiss faced problems in Cyprus, which led to many staff members leaving. Around a month later, the Cyprus branch of BDSwiss, operating under the name Viverno, had its license paused by the local regulator.
Other former BDSwiss workers are also moving into big roles at other brokers. Nicole Heinrich, who spent eight years at BDSwiss, serving as Chief Sales Officer, joined Key To Markets a month ago as Chief Commercial Officer. Another ex-BDSwiss worker, Marc Suárez, has now taken on the role of Head of Marketing at Tauro Markets, a CFDs brokerage founded by former BDSwiss Chief Executive Officer Alexander Oelfke.
