Google’s much-debated privacy policy goes into effect today, despite European Union regulators crying foul over the alleged breach of privacy laws. While Google claims to have ‘simplified’ its policy, the truth is, users cannot opt out of the new policy if they want to continue using Google products, which includes Gmail, YouTube, and its social network Google+.
