Goat Funded Trader (GFT), a company that helps regular people trade, has just announced that it is adding a new tool called cTrader to its trading platforms. This tool comes from Spotware and is very popular among traders.
GFT teased its clients on social media, hinting at a “big announcement.” Some traders guessed that the company would bring in cTrader. To celebrate this, GFT is giving discounts on trading challenges when users use the code CTRADER.
GFT Wants To Give Traders More Choices With New Tools
GFT wants to give traders more choices. This year, GFT stopped using MetaQuotes’ trading platforms two times. In July, GFT added TradeLocker. Then, in August, GFT thought about using cTrader. The Chief Executive Officer, Edoardo Dalla Torre, asked traders in September if they wanted cTrader too. Two months later, GFT is giving them what they asked for by adding the new platform.
In February 2024, GFT was one of the first companies to stop using MetaQuotes’ platform due to licensing problems. Although GFT tried to use MetaTrader again for a short time, it did not work out.
Now, MatchTrader, TradeLocker, and cTrader are becoming popular with other companies that want to stop using MetaTrader. Companies like MyFundedFX and The Funded Trader are also starting to use cTrader in their services.
GFT Looks To Improve Trading By Adding cTrader
Reports say that at least a dozen companies are now using cTrader. This includes well-known names like Funding Pips, Lark Funding, FTMO, and Fintokei. Fintokei said it paid out over €4 million to traders in the first eight months of this year.
Spotware, the company that made cTrader, has been busy too. GFT just shared a new version of its desktop app called version 5.0.22. This update has a shiny new feature and fixes lots of problems to help users have more fun.
