Andreas Andreou, who left his job as Chief Revenue Officer at BDSwiss last month, has started a new trading platform called thePropTrade.com. He is the founder and co-Chief Executive Officer of this platform.

Andreou has just shared the news of the platform’s official launch. He also stated that Md Hazly is the other co-chief Executive Officer. Hazly was formally the Regional Manager at HF Markets.

Andreas Andreou Has Venture Into Prop Trading

The website for the new prop trading platform shows that it is owned by QuantElite—FZCO, a company based in Dubai. The platform offers up to $200,000 in simulated funding for traders who complete its three trading challenges.

Andreou said the first goal of his platform is to focus on growing in key emerging markets. These markets include Southeast Asia (SEA), Latin America (Latam), and Africa.

Andreou stated that while the firm is starting with these markets, it plans to grow into other regions, including Europe and beyond. He added that thePropTrade.com aim is to create a strong and easy-to-use platform for traders everywhere, adjusting to the needs of each area as they expand.

Interestingly, Alexander Oelfke, the former Group Chief Executive Officer at BDSwiss, also started a CFDs broker in Dubai. Last month, it was reported that BDSwiss laid off many employees from its office in Cyprus. Many traders on the BDSwiss platform have also complained about problems withdrawing their money.

Andreou’s New Platform Aims To Help Traders By Offering Support And Funding

Andreou is a well-known name in the trading world. He spent nearly two years at BDSwiss, first joining in February 2023 as the Chief Commercial Officer before becoming the Chief Revenue Officer.

Over his 25-year career, he has worked with many brokerage brands. He started as a Sales Executive at FXGM’s Cyprus office and was later an Institutional Account Manager at IronFX.

His most important job was at HF Markets, where he began in October 2014. He worked his way up to Head of Business Development and stayed there until early 2023.

According to a report, Markos Kashiouris, the founder of IronFX, has also quietly launched his own prop trading platform, which is registered in the UK. This shows that many people from BDSwiss are starting new ventures in trading.

Overall, Andreou’s new platform aims to help traders by offering support and funding. With a focus on growing in emerging markets, he hopes to create a place where traders can learn and succeed. The trading community will be watching how thePropTrade.com develops in the coming months.
