The FNA tool will enable the monitoring of financial markets through social media and web extraction. The offering will be an extension of FNA’s services to streamline and promote safety across the financial industry.

FNA deals in uncovering hidden connections and anomalies across large, complex datasets. Central banks, commercial banks, and infrastructures across the financial markets have adopted the software offered by the company.

Following this grant, FNA will work alongside Superintendencia de Banca, Seguros y AFP in Peru. They will work together to create a prototype for a tool to monitor the financial market using proof of concept.

The tool was created by supervisory agency graduates at the 2022 Cambridge SupTech Lab capacity-building programs. The offerings aim to improve offerings across the company and guarantee that financial markets have access to a better tool.

Besides the $100,000 funding, FNA will join two other winners of this competition on the SupTech Lab’s Launchpad. The latter is an accelerator program for financial authorities and technology vendors. It allows them to co-create and launch cutting-edge SupTech applications with the ability to achieve scalability.

Cambridge SupTech Lab

The Cambridge SupTech Launchpad is an accelerator program for financial authorities and technology vendors. These parties can co-create and launch cutting-edge solutions that benefit different industries.

The Cambridge SupTech Lab team is facilitating and de-risking the collaboration. The team will provide exclusive details on the technical specifications, designs, and implementations of agile procurement for the vendors. It also gives project management support and technical assistance.

Vendors can participate in the Launchpad competitions to enjoy multiple offerings. They will obtain awards in the form of funds to create and test prototype solutions by collaborating with the agencies.

Vendors that join the SupTech Lab Launchpad will also receive tailored coaching. They will also participate in the pitch day to link with funders. There is also a demo day where products will be presented to potential clients.

Vendors will also be listed on the online Vendor Database. Engaging with the SupTech community is also possible through hackathons and techsprints. The vendors will also be part of a global community of regulators, supervisors, investors, academics, and development partners collaborating with the Cambridge SupTech Lab for the offering.

The Launchpad usually targets financial companies launching new solutions through different applications. These financial firms can participate in the CB&E programs or seek technical assistance.

The SupTech Launchpad builds on the experience offered by the RegTech for Regulators Accelerator (R2A). The platform has successfully developed unique solutions and formulated an agile approach to the partnership between authorities and tech experts.
