The license that the FCA granted focused on Eurotrader Capital Limited, which is a UK subsidiary of the company. According to the brokerage company, this license would be a major step in the company’s strategic growth, allowing it to expand its product offerings and geographic presence.

The CEO of Eurotrader, Marcelo Spina, who joined the brokerage company in August, said that there were exciting developments slated to happen during the next 12 months, adding that he was looking forward to announcing the company’s expansion plans.

The FCA granted this license when the brokerage company made several executive hirings in London. The firm has been expanding its workforce significantly over the last few months.

Besides the latest appointment of Spina, the other senior executives that have also joined the company include Jack Beezer as the Chief Product Officer and Ben Swann as the Chief Technology Officer. Toward the end of August, the company hired Martin Couper of Exinity as the Head of Global Compliance.

The other top hirings that Eurotrader has made include Robert Collins as the Head of Trading and Abdul Rahman as the Head of Marketing. The role of Collins is based in London. The LinkedIn profile of Rahman shows that he handles this role from Limassol in Cyprus.

Focused on global growth

Dr. Ozan Ozerk, the founder of Eurotrader, said that the expansion effort of the brokerage firm would go ahead without being paused. In July 2021, the brokerage company obtained a license to operate in South Africa. The company offers its services in the country using its local subsidiary.

While announcing this license, Ozerk said that the brokerage company was determined to follow its strategic plan to achieve global growth. The firm will also ensure that the company will achieve success using top appointments and other licenses.

“We are getting closer to delivering on our own vision to cater to a trader’s 360 evolving needs in a safe, secure, and reliable way,” the company’s founder said.
