The Co-founder and Chief Executive officer of Cross the Ages, Sami Chlagou, stated that the company is happy to have Animoca Brands as the main investor in its first equity round. He added that the partnership shows a shared dedication and trust in CTA’s gaming world to broaden the IP within Animoca Brands’ partners and ecosystems.

Ubisoft Aims To Expand Its Big-Budget Video Game Series

Ubisoft plans to bring another one of its big-budget video game series into the cryptocurrency realm by teaming up with Cross the Ages. This collaboration will unveil in-game cards similar to the Watch Dogs franchise.

Cross the Ages received significant support from well-known video game companies such as Square Enix, the maker of Final Fantasy and Ubisoft, the creator of Assassin’s Creed. Both companies previously invested in the studio, and Ubisoft partnered with the game earlier this year by introducing its Watch Dogs franchise to Cross the Ages through an NFT expansion pack.

Yat Siu, Animoca Brands Co-founder and Executive Chairman, stated in a press release that blockchain gaming is a significant trend that is giving real digital ownership to many people. Cross the Ages perfectly represents the principles of this trend, allowing users to dive into adventures in a virtual world firmly based on personal ownership.

Cross the Ages presents a full value journey covering mobile gaming to PC gaming, utilizing blockchain technology and tangible collectible cards that uses NFC technology.
