DB Investing Welcomes Ioan Mih As Chief Business Officer

Ioan Mih has joined DB Investing as the Chief Business Officer. Before this move, he served as the Chief Executive Officer at ProperFX, a brokerage company that focuses on trading in forex, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. His tenure at ProperFX lasted several months.
Throughout his career, Mih has held a number of senior executive roles across well-known brokerage firms. Prior to working with ProperFX, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at CPT Markets.
Ioan Mih Aims To Drive Innovation And Strategic Growth At DB Investing
Mih professional profile on LinkedIn also highlights his role as the co-founder of KooPay, a remote-based company operating out of the United States.
Additionally, Mih has held leadership roles at MEX Europe, where he served as Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director, and Member of the Board of Directors. At MultiBank Group, he was in charge of the payments division for a period extending over two years.
Mih began his career at FxPro in a customer support role. As his career progressed, he took on more senior positions such as Senior eFX Institutional Sales at Squared Financial and Director, Head of Business Development and Institutional Sales at Land FX.
The brokerage firm DB Investing, now supported by Mih, recently entered into a strategic partnership with Acuity Trading. This collaboration brought an advanced research platform into DB Investing’s trading environment, aiming to provide traders with access to AI-driven market insights, powerful data analytics, and sophisticated research tools.
Commenting on the integration, DB Investing’s Chief Executive Officer Gennaro Lanza noted that the move reflects the firm’s ongoing dedication to innovation, openness, and giving traders better control through enhanced tools.
Ioan Mih Wants To Boost DB Investing’s Global Reach
In another update from the financial regulatory sector, Juma Thani Alhameli was named Chief Operating Officer at the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). He will also join the DFSA’s Executive Committee.
This move supports the regulator’s plan to strengthen its leadership at the Dubai International Financial Centre. Alhameli said he is grateful for the chance and excited to lead DFSA’s operations during an important time for the region’s financial sector.
He also said he looks forward to working with the DFSA team and helping Dubai and the UAE grow as a major global financial center.
ProperFX, where Mih used to work, is a contract for difference (CFD) broker. It offers trading in forex, commodities, indices, stocks, precious metals, and other CFD products through the MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform.
However, ProperFX does not serve clients in certain countries like the United States, Puerto Rico, Quebec (Canada), the United Kingdom, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Japan, India, Afghanistan, and other areas sanctioned by OFAC. It also restricts services where local laws don’t allow it.
