A well-known crypto exchange platform, OKX, has announced the launch of its exchange services and web3 wallet in the Netherlands. This step marks a milestone as the crypto exchange continues to expand its operations in the Dutch market.
According to its website, OKX currently provides services in over one hundred countries. OKX, known as OKEx until 2017, was launched that same year and has its headquarters in Africa. The company has a strong global presence in Singapore, Hong Kong, Silicon Valley, and the UAE.
OKX Customers Residing In The Netherlands Can Now Access Crypto Wallet Services
Based on data from CMC, OKX ranks as the fourth largest Exchange, boasting a trading volume of $2 billion. Providing Web3 wallet services, the crypto exchange operates in several countries, including the United States.
OKX stated on its official website that customers from the Dutch can now use spot trading and exchange services, available to more than 150 countries.
In addition, the platform provides crypto wallet services for customers who live in the Netherlands, increasing options for digital finance. The Exchange believes that its wallet is a doorway to Web3, providing users access to decentralized applications and services.
In addition, the Exchange only permits about sixty crypto-euro sets within the nation. The exchange platform has also collaborated with ‘iDeal’, a payment system in the Netherlands. This integration permits customers to make easy payments and withdraw Euros without charges.
Furthermore, the crypto exchange made it clear that the reason why it decided to choose the Netherlands was because it has an environment that has very active enthusiasts. This concerns cryptocurrencies, novices, traders with experience, and long-term stakeholders.
OKX Recently Ceased Its Services In Hong Kong
The Dutch have adopted the crypto exchange idea and are already actively taking part in the web3 communities and crypto world.
Additionally, the exchange also stated that it has a license that certifies it to provide crypto services with the De Netherlandche Bank (DNB). It also has another license as a provider of virtual financial assets in Malta. The Exchange aims to grow its services and increase it to become a worldwide community.
On the contrary, OKX recently stopped its services in Hong Kong by retrieving Hong Kong’s license application. In addition, early this year, it stopped its USDT trades of paired cryptocurrencies within the boundaries of EU territories.
