Citi, the third largest bank in the United States, has partnered with Navan. Navan is a modern-day end-to-end travel and expense solution, with the offering set to give businesses access to an innovative travel, expense, and payment experience.

Those holding Citi commercial cards will benefit from the offering by accessing convenience and efficiency. The partnership also paves the way for Citi cardholders to transform expense management and streamline business travel.

Leveraging Navan’s Technological Capabilities

Citi combines the comprehensive solution offered by Navan with its commercial card offerings. The partnership will also leverage the innovative technology offered by Navan Connect to create a unique digital experience for those holding cards offered by Citi.

By working with the industry-leading T&E solution offered by Navan, Citi is building upon its commitment to deliver innovative and user-friendly digital experiences to its clients. The offering could also improve how expenses are managed and businesses operate.

Citi is planning to distinguish the commercial card program by integrating innovative travel and expense services within its offerings. Navan now ranks among the most preferred vendors by Citi because of its ability to offer a comprehensive travel, payment, and expense solution.

Navan could deliver upon the desired capabilities by Citi such as expense management, automated expenses, and instant reconciliation.

The CEO and co-founder of Navan, Ariel Cohen, said, “Established credit card companies like Citi have proven their staying power. Rather than try to replace these industry stalwarts, tech companies should leverage their strengths and experience to further existing infrastructure.”

Cohen further said that integrating the renowned credit card services into advanced technology would see Navan focus on boosting travel and expense interactions for users, while also creating unique experiences that bring together finance and technology.

Working With Navan Connect

Cohen is releasing this new offering in partnership with Navan Connect. The latter is an innovative card-link technology that links Citi Commercial Cards and Navan Expense to offer real-time visibility and policy control on each card.

Navan will also integrate top-tier travel and expense management services to expand the customer base for its Commercial Cards. The firm will also bolster the value given to clients.

Citi clients will further benefit from the complete travel and expense offerings by Citi. These offerings include access to corporate negotiated rates (CNRs). Customers will also enjoy a variety of travel options and flexibility to use the Navan Expense product.

This partnership is iconic as it marks the first time that the industry is working on a large-scale end-to-end travel, expense, and payments collaboration.
