Achilleas Achilleos Joins Alchemy Markets As Chief Marketing Officer

Achilleas Achilleos, who departed from BDSwiss’ Cyprus offices during a period of mass resignations, has joined Alchemy Markets as Chief Marketing Officer. He stepped into the position shortly after leaving BDSwiss.

Alchemy Markets operates as a forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) broker under regulations in Seychelles and Malta. Achilleos now brings extensive marketing experience to the firm.

Achilleas Achilleos’ Career Moves Reflect Growth And Change In The Forex Industry

Previously, he held the same role at BDSwiss for more than two years. Before that, he worked as a Marketing Executive at Skilling, another FX and CFDs broker. His career in the retail trading industry began when he became Head of Marketing at CommexFX.

He also spent several months at ForexTime (FXTM) in Cyprus as Creative Director. His professional background includes roles at Impact Tech and Allocated Bullion Exchange.

During the period when Achilleos and others departed from BDSwiss, reports indicated that at least ten employees had resigned, though the actual number was much higher.

Shortly after, the Cyprus financial regulator suspended BDSwiss’ local license due to non-compliance. However, BDSwiss continued offering liquidity and technology solutions under the Viverno brand with its Cyprus license.

Around the same time, Andreas Andreou, another former BDSwiss executive, launched a proprietary trading firm and later joined INGOT Brokers as Chief Sales Officer. He continues managing his trading firm while holding the role at INGOT. Nicole Heinrich, also a former BDSwiss executive, now serves as Chief Commercial Officer at Key to Markets.
