XCharge North America (XCharge NA), a provider of high-power EV charging solutions and battery-integrated systems, develops technology to support the electrical grid. The company has now introduced its first Virtual Point of Sale (VPOS) system for XCharge chargers.

This new payment solution follows the company’s recent launch of GridLink, an advanced EV charging and grid management platform tailored for the North American market.

XCharge NA Advances EV Charging With Customer-Focused Payment Solutions

XCharge NA was established to help all types of customers, from small shop owners to large vehicle groups, charge their EVs more easily. The aim is to give them the best tools so they can always use the latest and smartest charging methods.

The company’s President and Co-founder, Aatish Patel, said that VPOS is not just a new idea but also a way to show that hearing what customers say can help find the best answers.

XCharge North America’s introduction of the Virtual Point of Sale (VPOS) system marks an important step in improving EV charging accessibility and security.

By integrating a seamless payment solution that does not require additional hardware or apps, the company enhances convenience for both businesses and individual users.

The use of trusted platforms like Stripe, along with features such as dynamic QR codes and optional pin protection, ensures a safe and efficient payment process.

VPOS Boosts Security With Easy Payments For XCharge Users

The introduction of VPOS reinforces XCharge NA’s commitment to delivering seamless and user-friendly charging solutions for its customers.

The payment system is designed for seamless functionality and robust security. It is integrated into all new XCharge chargers, while older models can receive it through a secure remote update without requiring additional hardware.

The system integrates Stripe, a reputable payment service, to facilitate fast and seamless EV charging transactions.

Users are not required to download an app to access it. They can complete payments using Apple Pay, Google Wallet, or their bank cards. For enhanced security, the system generates a dynamic QR code on the screen, which continuously updates to prevent fraudulent activities.

The system also helps users keep their charging safe by allowing a pin code to protect the session from others. It gives live details about charging, keeps full records of payments, and saves all transaction history.

If there is a problem, the system can be checked and repaired from a distance without needing a worker to visit. It also works completely with XCharge machines and support teams to make sure everything runs smoothly.
