Muinmos, a regulatory technology company from Denmark, has promoted Michael Thirer to Chief Legal Officer, adding him to its management team, according to reports.
Thirer joined Muinmos four years ago as Commercial Director. In late 2022, he took on the role of Legal, Governance, and Regulatory Affairs Director, which was a new position at the company.
Thirer Will Also Help Guide Product Plans
In his new role, he will handle legal and regulatory duties and help guide product plans to ensure client onboarding follows rules.
Remonda Kirketerp-Møller, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Muinmos, said Thirer had been very important in helping the company grow over the years. She stated that he had helped strengthen compliance and handled complex rules while keeping the company’s platform at the highest industry level.
Thirer has twenty years of legal experience. He began his professional journey at private law firms before moving to Muinmos in 2021.
Muinmos provides an automated client onboarding platform for financial firms. The platform helps businesses complete onboarding quickly by using artificial intelligence for client categorization, risk checks, and regulatory processes. The firm claims its system allows onboarding in less than three minutes.
Over time, many firms have used Muinmos’ solutions. According to the update, Diagram Capital, a financial company with approval from the Financial Conduct Authority, worked with Muinmos last December to improve its onboarding and regulatory processes.
Muinmos has also been growing its leadership team. It recently brought in a former leader from LEGO as a board member and expanded into the Middle East and North Africa region by appointing Nadeem Sa’adeh as Regional Business Development Director.
Muinmos Recently Formed A Four-Member Advisory Board
Two weeks ago, Muinmos announced the setup of a four-member Advisory Board with experts from financial services and technology. The board includes professionals from Google, Salesforce, and the London Stock Exchange Group.
The company named Sander Daniels as Chair of the Advisory Board. Daniels had built a data platform that JP Morgan later acquired and worked in Salesforce’s financial services division. He stated that Muinmos provides a strong platform for financial institutions and has great potential for growth. Daniels added that he is very excited with the team the company brought together.
Liz Hughes, an expert in financial services with experience at Lehman Brothers and the London Stock Exchange Group, also joined the board. Edward Lane, a senior leader at Kantata, and Thomas Vollmer, a sales leader at Boost.ai, are also part of the team.
Kirketerp-Møller said the company had strengthened its team by bringing in an Advisory Board with experienced members who could help the company grow further.
