Ahmad Said, who worked at Pepperstone for four years mostly as Head of Engineering for the EMEA region, announced that he is creating a new trading platform for contracts for difference (CFD) brokers. He revealed that the platform, named Fintake, will help brokers move away from using the same technologies and focus more on innovation.

Said works with a team of experts in trading tools at Fintake. Said and his team revealed that many brokers still use the same systems, which keep their businesses stuck without new ideas or changes.

Said Brings CFD Expertise To Innovate With Fintake

Said stated that the team is building new trading tools to fix problems with old systems. He explained the firm want brokers to have fresh ideas and go beyond using the same tools as everyone else.

Said added that Fintake will offer easy-to-use APIs, flexible licenses, and tools that grow with businesses. He said these features will help brokers do better work, grow their business, and be different from others.

Said has a lot of knowledge about CFD platforms. He started as a Senior Software Developer at FxPro in Cyprus, working there for three years. Later, he spent a year building add-ons for MetaTrader 4 and 5. For five years, he was a leader for FX Solutions at ChartIQ, a trading tech company.

In 2021, he joined Pepperstone as a Senior Software Engineer. He quickly took on bigger roles, becoming Engineering Chapter Lead, Engineering Manager, and then Head of Engineering for the EMEA region.

Said’s Career Path Inspires New Ventures In The CFD Industry

Said remembered starting as the first engineer in Cyprus and growing the team to over 20 people. He said the team worked on key projects like adding TradingView, creating Pepperstone’s trading tools, and building the mobile app.

Said’s story shows a trend where experts in the FX and CFD field start their own projects. For example, Sam Eder left OANDA after 15 years to start Market Mates.

Similarly, in August, Desimir Paskalev, who worked in the trading field for over ten years at XM, started FundedBull. Paskalev said prop trading was easier to begin than opening a full brokerage business. Said’s new work, Fintake, hopes to help brokers try new ideas and lead in their markets.

Fintake is a leading online banking platform, created to offer a seamless banking experience for its customers. Founded in 2020, the platform is dedicated to providing full banking access to everyone.
