The Italian payment company Satispay announced it has raised an extra €60 million, bringing its total raised funds to over half a billion euros. Satispay, which reached a value of over $1 billion in 2022, shared that its main investors – Addition, Greyhound, and Lightrock – have continued to support the company.

Satispay said these supporters are happy with the company’s progress over the last two years, which encouraged them to help Satispay grow even more. Now, Satispay has over 5 million users and works with more than 380,000 shops.

Satispay Aims To Lead In Employee Benefits And Expand Into Investment Services

The company has recently entered a new area with Employee Benefits, offering things like meal vouchers and extra worker perks. This new service brought in over 12,000 companies and more than 50,000 users in just one year.

Satispay explained these new services are part of its goal to be a top choice in this area. It also plans to add new investment services for users, expected to start next year.

Satispay added that its supporters are experts who give advice and strong help to reach its goals. With this new funding, Satispay plans to grow faster and bring more services to users.

Alberto Dalmasso, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer shared that working closely with its supporters has been very helpful. He said these supporters have backed Satispay from the start, helping it grow even stronger. Dalmasso also said that raising money in a tough time is a big plus and gives Satispay “extra fuel” to keep growing.

Satispay said it wants to be a leader in mobile payments and also grow in welfare and investment services. With the new funds, it hopes to grow faster and may even look at buying other companies if good chances come up.

Satispay Aims To Simplify Personal Finance With Enhanced User Control

Satispay also noted that its founders will now have more voting power, which gives them more control over the company’s future.
