Danske Bank has included a fresh feature in its mobile app to help customers easily see the number of environmentally-friendly investments they have made.

A recent survey conducted by Danske Invest suggests that most investors in Denmark are keen on prioritizing sustainability in their investment choices. Until this point, meeting with an investment advisor was the only way to uncover the sustainability angle of investments.

The New Feature Is Now Available To All Users Of Danske Bank

The head of global private banking Danske Bank, Anne Buchardt, stated that since the firm introduced the feature for advisors, it has been diligently working to offer it to customers at home. She added that the feature is now accessible to all online or mobile banking service users, ensuring that these insights are no longer exclusive to those who get personal investment advice.

It was noted that users of the new feature can now see the percentage of their sustainable investments and their overall impact on areas such as biodiversity, human rights, equality, climate, and other related factors.

It was mentioned in a survey by Danske Invest last autumn that 61 percent of Nordic customers with invested funds prioritize sustainability as either “important” or “very important.”

Buchardt mentioned that the new feature provides customers with a straightforward digital solution, allowing them to easily view their sustainable investments and assess their investment performance based on selected sustainability measures directly on their smartphones.

The Feature Now Provide Customers With Insight On The Process Of Investment

The sustainable investments are chosen using a model created by Danske Bank. Additionally, the feature gives a detailed look at how these investments measure up against various sustainability factors compared to the overall stock market.

Danske Bank is a top financial firm from Denmark that provides many banking services. These services include personal accounts, business banking, and services for large institutions.

It was founded by a group of notable businessmen in Denmark and established on October 5, 1871, formally under the name Hypothek- og Vexelbank i Kjøbenhavn, Den Danske (The Danish Farmers’ Bank, Mortgage and Exchange Bank of Copenhagen). Danske Bank has become very important in the Nordic area, working in countries like Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland.

The bank is dedicated to being creative and helping customers, always improving its online tools to give customers a better experience. One recent important addition is a new tool in its mobile app that lets users easily check their eco-friendly investments.

This tool fits with the popular trend of focusing on sustainable investments, shown by surveys that many Nordic investors see sustainability as very important.
