VSC, a health and fitness ecosystem running on Vyvo Smart Chain, is upgrading its proprietary Data Non-Fungible Token (Data-NFT) to support binding with Apple Watch. The upgrade will allow Apple Watch devices to engage in Data Mining and generate rewards in $VSC using a Data-NFT.
VSC announced this expansion during the Web Summit Growth Startup Program in Lisbon. The program allows startups to access the necessary resources and support to boost business scalability. The offering shows the dedication of VSC towards innovation while supporting the health and wellness industry.
Vyvo Smart Chain Announces NFT Expansion to Apple Watch
Vyvo Smart Chain leverages health data to mine on the blockchain. Sensors collect this data from the user’s biometrics. VSC then taps decentralization to give data owners control over data and privacy while allowing them to monetize health data.
The co-founder and CEO of VSC, Fabio Galdi, opined that VSC’s upgrade and expansion of the Data-NFT capabilities positioned the company at a leading position in health and fitness.
“Our mission has always been to use blockchain to expand what is possible with technology,” Galdi said. “With this technical upgrade to our proprietary Data-NFT, we advance our ecosystem to an entirely new user base.”
Bringing Health to the Blockchain and NFT Industry
The co-founder of Vyvo Smart Chain, Mariana Krymn, opined that the company believed in its ability to appeal to the over 100 million people who use an Apple Watch globally. These users are given a chance to reclaim the ownership of their health data, with the value having a significant impact on the health and blockchain industry.
The company also announced this initiative during the Web Summit to attain a global reach. Apple Watch users who want to enjoy this upgrade can do so using simple steps. The first process is having a wearable Apple Watch compatible with the Vyvo Smart Chain. The wearable device also needs to have the ability to measure health data.
The second step is to use a VSC-compatible application to link a Data-NFT to the Apple Watch. This process will associate health data with the Data-NFT and notify the project where to send rewards.
After following these processes, a user will obtain VSC rewards after the Apple Watch binds to the Data-NFT using a DApp that is compatible with VSC. It will then start measuring health data and allow users to obtain rewards in VSC.
