eToro, a brokerage platform based in Israel, has renewed its sponsorship deal with SK Slavia Prague. The latter is the oldest football club in the Czech Republic, and it will now be working with eToro for one more season.
eToro extends partnership deal with SK Slavia Praque
eToro is a social trading and investment company that was first marked as the sponsor of SK Slavia Prague in 2021 after securing a multi-year agreement deal. The trading platform has now said that the extended sponsorship for the club comes after it recorded an impressive victory in the last season of the Czech Cup.
The extension of the deal shows that eToro has remained to be the front-of-short sponsor for the club, and it will continue having its brand materials displayed across LED boards, fan forums, social networks, and side pitch banners.
The Regional Manager for Northern and Central Eastern Europe for eToro, Shany Hahn Shalom, noted that during the previous season, the club had managed to emerge as winners. As such, eToro was thrilled to be partnering with a team that demonstrated excellence.
“Last season, SK Slavia Prague showcased their exceptional talent and determination, clinching the coveted Czech Cup title. eToro is thrilled to be associated with a team that consistently demonstrates excellence both on and off the field,” Shalom said.
On the other hand, the CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board at SK Slavia Prague, Martin Riha, said that he was excited about this new deal, adding that he had a mutual interest in continuing the sponsorship agreement.
Riha further said that the club prided itself on long-term cooperation with its partners. The company said that the extension of the deal by the two parties showed that the existing cooperation was already working.
eToro continues to secure new sports sponsorship deals
eToro has continued to secure more sports sponsorship deals as a way of boosting brand awareness. The broker has secured several sponsorship deals across Europe in just a single year, demonstrating its commitment to growing its clientele base.
Last week, the investment company announced it would secure sponsorship deals with four football clubs across the UK to target the FIFA Women’s World Cup that is set to commence on July 20 this year. Some of the clubs that eToro has partnered with for the season include Arsenal, Everton, Crystal Palace, and West Ham.
In recent months, eToro has secured new agreement deals with a Dutch football club known as AZ Alkmaar. It also partnered with the Baskonia Spanish basketball club and Premiership Rugby.
Prior to the recent partnership deals, eToro had grown its portfolio as a leading sports sponsor across Europe. In 2020, the firm expanded its sports sponsorship deals by attracting 12 football clubs across Germany and the United Kingdom.
eToro currently has around 20 teams that it sponsors in the English Premier League. It also has deals in the German Bundesliga, Spanish Liga ACB, and Rugby Australia. These deals are set to grow eToro’s regional presence.
