Well, it seems our piece yesterday on the “cozy” relationship between doctors and the well-heeled industries that cater to them,

especially via the important – but clearly abused – vehicle of Continuing Medical Education, which is a key requirement for on-going license renewal –

got a lot of attention from our friend / colleague / and devoted reader Sr. Dr. Claudio Pairoba down in Rosario, Argentina, which is not surprising,

because he has a PhD in Biochemistry, and so knows a GREAT deal about how the whole medical industrial complex works,

knowledge amplified during his years as a Post-Doc at Stanford, which is what he was doing when we met,

during which time he became interested in matters of media and political economy …

As always, we’re delighted to draw more attention to any item, because we think they’re important, and want more people to look at it, whether in Espanol OR in English … 😉 …
