Utah is a Rocky Mt. state of the W United States. The state is bordered by Idaho and Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, and Nevada.
The state has a total geographical area of 84,899 sq mi; with a land area of 82,144 sq mi; and the total acres forested 15.7 mil.
The establishment of defense plants and military installations during World War II has spurred phenomenal industrial growth and acted as a positive indicator for the economy.
