Wikileaks “Revelations” No Big Surprise – So Far

We hate to be party-poopers —

as elite media and politicians all over the world 

freak out about the latest releases from Wikileaks —

but we honestly think the whole brouhaha is WAAAY overrated.

Sorry.

It’s certainly NOT an attack on the US or any other country,

although it doesn’t say much for American “security” that so much material was so easily, er, re-routed.

Berlin Courts Bollywood, Hoping for Indian Tourism

When Indians travel to Europe, they are usually drawn to Paris, London and Switzerland, 

places that are familiar to them through Bollywood films. 

Since the 1990s, Indian directors have had a penchant for shooting love stories against a backdrop of the snow-covered Alps. 

India has its own mountains in Kashmir, which are no less picturesque, 

but hardly anyone wants to shoot films in the volatile and hotly-contested border region.

The classroom walls at the Hungarian-Chinese bilingual primary school here are decorated with Chinese calendars and banners.

Chinese lanterns hang from the ceilings of the main entrance hall.

There are stacks of new Chinese language books in the staff room, provided by the Chinese authorities,

who also send two teachers a year, depending on the school’s needs.

The school cafeteria, however, serves only local fare.

“No Chinese food, at least not yet,” said Viktoria Schaff, one of the teachers.
