The history of Tractor Supply Company (TSC) can be stated to the year 1938 when Charles E. Schmidt Sr. of Chicago, Illinois established the tractor parts business. The first retail store of the tractor supply company was started in 1939, Minot, North Dakota. TSC headquarter is situated in Brentwood, Tennessee. It is a public company whose stocks are traded in NASDAQ.
