Uganda has substantial natural resources, including fertile soil and grass, regular rainfall, and significant mineral deposits of copper, cobalt, gold, and other minerals. Agriculture, fisheries and farming is the most important sector of its economy. Coffee accounts for the bulk of export earnings. Growth is solid, despite variability in the price of coffee, and a consistent upturn in Uganda's export markets.
