Future of taxes in Boston economy

Economists have predicted that in coming future rates of taxes would go up in Boston as well as Massachusetts in near future. It is expected that sales taxes in Boston would be increased to 6.25 percent.

Economists have opined that tax payers in this city would have accepted this tax hike if there were sufficient reforms affected by state government and expenses were reduced. They are pointing out that tax legislators in this city would be using pressurizing tactics to authenticate any probable increase in tax rates.

However, any possible increase is still at level of discussions. Economists are saying that they expect members of Democrat party in Senate would be calling for an increase in rates of sales taxes. They would also never decrease rates once they go up and they get used to it.
