STRUCTURE OF THE ECONOMY

Among the various sectors of the economy, agriculture plays a very significant role in the country.



It accounts for half of the total GDP in the country and is considered as the major source of revenue provider to the country. The country holds its advantage in livestock, grains, vegetables and fruits.




The role of the industrial sector in the country is also note worthy. The major industries of the country are food processing, beverages, textiles, chemicals, metals processing and cement.
