FOREIGN TRADE
The country has experienced both trade surplus as well as balance of payment surplus in the recent years.
Major exportable commodities of the country are cotton, cattle and textiles. Exports partners of Chad are Portugal, China and United States.
Transportation machines, petroleum products, foodstuffs and textiles are main importable products in the country. The country imports from the countries such as Germany, France, Belgium, US and Cameroon.

CONCLUSION
Chad joined the World Bank in the year 1963. Since then the bank has stepped forward for achieving sustainable economic growth and reducing poverty. It is also a member country of WTO and AU.
