STRUCTURE OF THE ECONOMY
The percentage share of the agriculture in the total GDP of the country is declining continuously, while it is rising in case of the services sector.

Major agricultural products in the country are coffee and cash crops. Important industries in the country are construction, soap, food processing, and shoes.

The manufacturing sector in the country is very poor. The value addition made by the services sector as the percentage of the total GDP of the country in 2004 was 41.0.
