The electricity generation process consists of several steps that include producing heat, conversion of steam etc. Normally, the heat produced by nuclear reactor is utilized to operate the turbines, which eventually generate electricity.

Advantages and disadvantages of uranium mining industry
Energy from uranium is produced in the nuclear reactor and these nuclear reactors do not produce carbon dioxide, which is one of the major pollutants in the atmosphere. The amount of energy per unit is also very high.
One of the major disadvantages of uranium mining industry is the effect of radiation, which can cause several health hazards and even death. So, uranium mining industry should have all the facilities to protect manking from the ill effect of radiation. The nuclear reactor needs very sophisticated appliances and it also needs to maintain a high level of security and protection.
