Cambodia is a Lower Middle Income economies coming under the East Asia and Pacific Region as to the classification made by the World Bank on the basis of Income and region for the year 2006.
The Cambodian Economy is largely dependent upon the agriculture sector. As to the statistics, the percentage share of the agriculture sector is relatively higher than the services sector in the country. The services activities in the state generally concentrated in trading activities.
Major agricultural products of the country are rice, rubber and vegetables.
Important industries are rice milling, wood and rubber types.
