There are several US investment options open to investors over there. US investment options are highly rewarding from a financial point of view. There are two broad types of investment options that are available in the USA – ones issued by US government and ones issued by the private parties.

US Government Investments
The US federal government issues a number of investment options for the investors. There are certain investment options that are issued directly by the USA government – Treasury bills, Treasury notes, Treasury bonds and Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities. There are certain non-marketable securities that are issued by the USA government as well – Zero-Percent Certificate of Indebtedness, Series EE and Series 1 Savings Bonds.

The market for investment options that are not issued by US federal government is dominated by stocks and bonds. Apart from government bonds there are several other forms of bonds available in the US – fixed income bonds, corporate bonds and municipal bonds.
