Over the years, a number of credit card terminals have been designed but one that was recently launched is getting a significant amount of attention.  This credit card terminal is called the VeriFone V*510, which is small yet very powerful.  The compact size makes it possible for merchants to free up precious display space while the robust features make handling business much easier and more convenient.

The Virginia credit card terminal is actually a PCI PED coupled with an EMV, which has surpassed the old countertop type of processing terminal.  Merchants love the new streamlined design, which is more professional and modern.  However, the greatest benefit is that transactions can be processed in less time.  In fact, most transactions can go through within a matter of seconds.

Another of the improved features with this Virginia credit card terminal is that both Verix and SoftPay applications make it possible for merchants to start processing transactions with this terminal quickly and with 100% efficiency.  Design features also include more memory, enhanced graphics for printed receipts and terminal display, the capability of multi-tasking, and a quiet and fast operation.

Numerous studies have been conducted to determine the things consumers want, as well as what merchants feel would benefit the business.  The one thing that both parties agreed on is that transaction time when making a purchase needs to be faster.  For the consumer, most lead busy lives so being able to focus on shopping or paying bills not standing in line waiting for the transaction to go through.  For the merchant, they wanted to have the ability to provide a better quality service.  Therefore, this terminal provides a solution for both.

However, what makes this Virginia credit card terminal so unique is that it uses wireless technology.  Then, the terminal can be placed on a display surface near the cash register or it can be handheld.  With this, merchants can service customers in wheelchairs, those too short to reach the countertop, and others that would otherwise have a difficult time paying.  This terminal is also secure so payments are processed quickly and safely.

Along with stores using this terminal to process Virginia credit card transactions, as well as other states, it works great for restaurants, tradeshows, or merchants that take the business to the customer.  As an example, for someone that has a dog grooming business whereby an RV would be taken to the client’s home or place of business, groom the dog outside, and then the merchant would drive to the next client.  Best of all, the payment would be made quickly and effortlessly.

Although other compact terminals have been designed, this one is the smallest in the world but it certainly does not sacrifice on power and features.  Having the option of portability for merchants is a huge bonus but also customers.  As in the dog grooming scenario, if the customer made a last minute appointment, this person would not have to make a special trip to the bank for cash.  Instead, the Virginia credit card would be swiped and within seconds, the transaction complete.
