While many transportation systems throughout the country are busy, the Nashville MTA is now providing more than nine million trips every year.  Officials believe this 11% increase over the prior year is due to two things.  First, people are trying to find more affordable transportation means and the MTA provides a safe, reliable, and affordable solution.  Second, a new type of Nashville credit card software was installed making it possible for people to pay via credit or debit card instead of cash.

Nashville officials listened to what people were saying and created two systems that met high demands.  The bus system itself offers high quality services, making this type of transportation more enjoyable.  In addition, a new program was developed called the EasyRide, which provides employees of various businesses, universities, and government agencies to ride at the expense of the employer.  However, the ability to pay for service with a Nashville credit card has been another huge bonus.

One aspect of this new Nashville credit card software is that currently, this city is the only one in the United States that offers this type of service.  While this has made an incredible difference for people that ride the MTA bus, Nashville has developed a number of other exciting solutions using credit cards.

Another great example of an exciting Nashville credit card is one that honors the city’s hockey team, the Nashville Predators.  The new MasterCard is provided by Chase, which is offered exclusively to cardholders.  With this new credit card, people can buy tickets to the Predator’s games and purchase memorabilia.

Officially known as the Nashville Predators blink MasterCard, cardholders can use the card for all types of great items to include front row seats to watch this national hockey league up close, which offers the privilege of being a “Predator for a Day” or even an autographed puck from one of the star players.  This Nashville credit card can also be used to rent a luxury suite designed to host up to 16 people.

While this alone is reason to have a Nashville credit card associated with the Predators, many other benefits exist.  For example, for every dollar spent using the credit card, the cardholder earns a point.  This program is the Ultimate Fan Rewards Program, which creates a unique opportunity for fans to experience the Predators in an entirely new way.

This Nashville credit card is also “blink enabled”, which means the payment options are faster and far more convenient.  In fact, transactions are sped up by as much as 40%, which saves the cardholder a lot of valuable time.  Then with the earned points, items and games can be purchased with the points earned.  The redemption levels begin at 1,000 and include a staggering system.

For instance, with 1,000 earned points, the cardholder of the blink Nashville credit card can get an autographed puck, with 2,500 points, and autographed stick, 5,000 points can be used toward buying tickets for upcoming games, and at the 10,000-point level, this card gets the cardholder a ride on the Zamboni, which cleans the ice.  However, when 25,000 points on this Nashville credit card have been earned, the individual can choose the “Predator of the Day” plan.  This comes with four tickets, a behind-the-scenes tour of the center, the opportunity to watch the team warm up while sitting in the front row, a shout out during the game, and even a chance to meet and follow the staff of the Predators.
