The Market for Retail Financial Services Development Integration and Economic Effects, 20-21st Oct 2008 would be held at the Czech National Bank, Prague. It is being organized by the European Central Bank, Czech National Bank and the Center for Financial Studies. This would be the ECB-CFS network's 11th conference. This conference aims at providing the best possible research at the international level. The issues under scrutiny would be the development of the retail financial services market. This conference is also supposed to look at the integration of the said markets in the European Union area. The role that the development of the retail financial markets can play in the context of the overall efficiency of the economic and financial scenario of the area would also be looked at.

The Market for Retail Financial Services Development Integration and Economic Effects conference also looks at providing a platform for debating about the various aspects of these issues within the participants of the retail financial services market. The researchers and the policy makers are supposed to be part of the entire exercise as well.
