The conference on Banking, Corporate Finance and Intermediation is scheduled to be held from 5th June to 8th June, 2008 in Alaska, USA. The venue of the conference has been fixed at the Millennium Alaskan Hotel in Anchorage, Alaska. This conference will be organized by the Financial Intermediation Research Society, popularly known as FIRS. It is going to be the third of its kind organized by FIRS.
This academic conference will focus on various issues of financial intermediation in the global context. There will be detailed discussions on the analytical and theoretical research papers on different contemporary issues of intermediation. The international scholars are expected to express their views on banking, corporate finance and intermediation in the parallel sessions of the conference. Among the various topics that will be discussed in this conference, market microstructure, insurance, asset pricing, and securitization are worth mentioning.
