Bio-diesel is becoming one of the important alternative energy sources. Both the production and use of these sources are increasing rapidly. There are a number of organizations that are playing a major role in the development of the biodiesel industry and National Biodiesel Board is one of those organizations.

The Board operates in the United States of America and is working constantly for the betterment of the entire industry and to promote the use of biodiesel among the consumers. To provide proper information and to share different views, the Board arranges annual conferences that are very helpful for the purpose.

The 2008 Biodiesel Conference & Expo was held in Orlando, Florida from 2nd to 6th February 2008. Nearly 4,000 people attended the conference and shared their view on the development strategies of the biodiesel industry. On the other hand, the learning sessions helped all these participants to develop their knowledge about the production, marketing and use of biodiesel.
