Real estate appraiser is actually a practitioner who works to estimate the value of an asset. In practice the real estate appraiser works as an independent estimator. Real estate appraiser normally discusses with the estate owners, leasing brokers or with some other experienced appraisers while estimating the property. They also keep the market price in their mind. The value of the estate closely varies with the market fluctuation. In practice, the appraisers always try to satisfy their clients. It is seen that any real estate located in the rural areas have lower values than real estate located in the town. Appraiser should be consistent enough to these issues.

Real estate appraiser normally deals with real property, like buildings, natural resources like oil, minerals etc. They need to make the appraisal when these properties are sold, bought, being condemned, insured or mortgaged. They also act as consultants. Normally they prepare written documents regarding the value of the property. They illustrate the diagram of the real estate and then estimate the valuation of the property in consistent with the present market price. Appraisers also verify the legal documents associated with the real estates.

There is no fixed fees rate. Generally the party who contacts the appraiser fix the rates.
