  • Bank of America Corp.: Headquartered in North Carolina, the bank owns above $2.5 trillion in assets, making it the largest in the country. It has more than 171,587 employees (February 2009).   • JPMorgan Chase & Co.: Founded in 1799, JPMorgan owned over $2.175 trillion assets by early 2009. It is the largest bank in the US in terms of market capitalization. The bank’s operations are spread across 60 countries. More than 228,452 employees (2008) serve millions of customers in the US. The bank offers a wide range of job opportunities to undergraduates and MBA degree holders. One can apply for jobs in card services, commercial banking, securities services and asset management.


 
  • Citigroup Inc.: One of the best organizations to work with, Citi is the largest financial services company in the world. Founded in 1812, it has operations in 140 countries, with 16,000 branches across the globe. The third largest US bank in terms of assets, it is headquartered in New York. It serves more than 200 million customers worldwide. There are over 322,000 employees (2009) working with Citi. Job seekers can apply in Institutional Clients Group (ICG) and Consumer Banking in the US. One can apply for maximum of two vacancies in a business division.
 
  • Wells Fargo & Co.: Headquartered in San Francisco, California, Wells Fargo was established in 1852. One of the largest financial services companies in the US, it serves millions of customers. In terms of assets, it is the fourth largest bank in the country. It employs over 276,000 people and has 6,650 retail branches (2009). Its diversified product array comprises retail banking, mortgages, insurance, consumer finance, payday advance and investment banking. One can apply at Wells Fargo for the position of a teller, phone banker, home mortgage consultant, credit manager, web developer and information security analyst.
