The Second Danish International Economics Workshop is going to be held in Aarhus, 4-5 May 2006. Workshop will be hosted by the Aarhus School of Business' Department of Economics, the International Economic Integration research group.

Professor Douglas R. Nelson from Tulane University, USA, and the Leverhulme Centre for Research on Globalization and Economic Policy, University of Nottingham, UK.

He will present the keynote paper and will comment on the other papers presented at the workshop. This workshop will focus for assembling researchers and PhD students specializing in international economics from all Danish research institutions. There is the high expectation that a number of non-Danish researchers will participate in the workshop.

There will be discussions on scientific exchange, facilitating collaboration research and contacts among researchers, to offer PhD students and junior researchers an opportunity to present their work and to establish closer contacts among Danish and international researchers in the International Economics field.
