Hermes Award 2006
The HERMES AWARD 2006 was given by the Deutsche Messe AG in recognition of pioneering technology goes to Harting Mitronics AG of Biel, Switzerland. It accepted the 100,000 euros in prize money on April 23 during the Opening Ceremony for HANNOVER MESSE.
The check and HERMES AWARD trophy were handed over by Dr. Annette Schavan, Germany's Federal Minister of Education and Research, in the presence of Dr. Angela Merkel, Federal Chancellor of Germany, India's Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, and the Premier of the State of Lower Saxony, Christian Wulff.
