- Formation of the Global Laboratory Evaluation & Management Program
The formation of the Global Laboratory Evaluation & Management Program (GLEMP) was announced at Pittcon. It was the result of increasing interest of industrial companies to improve their laboratory selection confidence by improving the ability to identify, select, engage, and monitor the performance of high quality laboratories. GLEMP is basically a non-profit association that supports its members in pursuit of best-in-class lab management programs by providing access to technical information including accreditation status of participating laboratories, laboratory accreditation program developments, laboratory evaluation approaches and methods developments and requirements.
