Ontario Energy Savings L.P. is a Canadian company that is providing services in Ontario since 1997. The company has been operating as an important part of another Canadian organization known as Energy Savings Group. Ontario Energy Savings L.P. or OES has a wide customer base and the prime objective of the company is to provide its customers with full coverage against the fluctuations of energy prices. These services are offered to both residential and businesses clients. Basically the company offers Price Protection Programs for natural gas and electricity. These programs offer the clients with a secured rate and good quality of service. The delivery and billing part of these services is carried out by the local utilities. The company has the necessary license provided by the Ontario Energy Board to provide all these services in the Ontario region.

The Price Protection Program of OES for electricity prices is very popular among the customers since 2002. This program is offered for a term of four or five years. At the end of the term, the customer can renew the plan if he or she feels so. The main feature of this program is that it fixes the price of electricity for the entire term. These prices are not subjected to any kind of fluctuation. The price offered by Ontario Energy Savings L.P. is 8.58 cents/kWh with a small balancing fee that is for balancing the differences between the actual usage of electricity and the forecasted electricity needs at time of signing the contract. The program is offered to every type of customer including industrial and residential consumers. The billing part will be handled by the local utility of the consumer.

The Ontario Energy Savings L.P. Price Protection Program for natural gas also has the similar features like the electricity Price Protection Plan. Here also a contract is signed for a term of 4-5 years and the rates offered by OES for natural gas is 41.9cents/m3. This contract is very useful because the natural gas reserves are limited and the prices for these are going up everyday. So, fixing the prices for a long term can protect the consumer from all the price-hikes in the market.
