The low arrangement of security in the credit card system makes it easier to conduct frauds. To over come this fraud various kinds of Credit Card Fraud Protection systems have been brought into use. This chance for fraudulent has created a massive black market of stolen credit card numbers which act so fast that a significant amount goes missing even before the card is reported stolen.

The Controlled Payment Number is a good option to prevent one's credit card. This Credit Card Fraud Protection system works in an unique way. Some temporary numbers are put in one's original numbers as needed. This number remains valid for only a short period of time with a low limit and only valid to a single merchant.

Methods of Credit Card Fraud Protection

There are various security agencies who look to lead this Credit Card Fraud Protection movement. This is a difficult thing to conduct as they do not have adequate informations to prosecute all criminals in this field. Many new methods have also been introduced such as the Personal Identification Number(PIN) system. The cards have been replaced with another that has tamper resistant system and also the quality of the cards have also gone high.
