Credit Card Annual Fee

Credit Card Annual Fee is a charge one pays to the credit card company for the privilege of conducting business with them. The Credit Card Annual Fee varies from one credit card with the other. There are some cards which do not even have Credit Card Annual Fees but they normally make it up with less facilities or high interest rates.

The amount of Credit Card Annual Fee mainly depends on the color of card one is using. The Gold cards are generally more costly than the regular cards. The platinum cards are even costlier than the Gold credit cards. Sometimes though it depends on the customer and his ability to negotiate with the credit card companies about the Credit Card Annual Fees.

New Credit Card Holders:

If anybody is looking to become a credit card holder he then more often than not would go for cards which do not have the Credit Card Annual Fees. Though the companies who charge annual fee provide better facilities than those who do not. Many companies are trying to come out of Credit Card Annual Fee as it makes the card unattractive.

For Existing Customers:

Some customers who at the moment are paying Credit Card Annual Fee might have started out without any Credit Card Annual Fee or Interest Fee as part of the introductory offer. But the bank cannot provide introductory offer forever. So, according to the contracts they pay the Credit Card Annual Fee. It is for them to think whether they want to come out of the contract or stick to it.

No Balance Contributes to Credit Card Annual Fees:

It has been seen that the people who pay Credit Card Annual Fee are mostly those who do not use their cards often enough. Thus, the card companies fail to make any money out of these people. They either do not use the cards or pay their debt off within grace periods. The companies, to make money out of them, charge them a certain amount of Credit Card Annual Fees.

Poor Credit Leads to Credit Card Annual Fee:

If somebody has a poor credit rating the credit card company might charge him with various amounts along with Credit Card Annual Fees.

Most of the credit card companies in the market have stopped charging Credit Card Annual Fees and the companies who do it either provide special facilities or they do it out of desperate profits which is hard to come by from various customers.
