Macy's Credit Card Payment Online: Two Methods

Making payments for your Macy’s card can be done in two ways:

  • Macy’s Quick Pay: This method lets a consumer make payments faster than Checkfree. This payment option processes the online payment in just 48 hours.
  • Checkfree service: This requires a consumer to enroll with Checkfree service providers. Once enrolled, the consumer can define the amount of payment and the date on which he wants to pay the bill. Every month the process gets repeated. Checkfree sends out e-statements and stops paper statements. One can print out a copy of the statement from the website as well. However, consumers who prefer paper statements may contact 1-866-593-2543.

Other modes of payment

Not every body makes payments online as many believe that online transactions can be risky or do not have cards or checking accounts. For the Macy’s card, these people can still make payments through:

  • The phone: People with checking accounts can use this facility to make payments towards their Macy’s card. They can call 1-888-431-6229 and give out their routing number, along with their checking account number. This facility, however, entails a fee.
  • At the store: This is a place where all types of payments work, including via checks, cards, cash or checking accounts. The best part about making payments here is that they get posted on your account almost instantaneously.
  • By mail: Probably the slowest way of making a payment, consumers can mail their checks or money orders along with their Macy’s account number and type the address:

The address for payments: ‘Macy’s, PO Box: 183083, Columbus, OH 43218-3083.  For Visa cards, the address is: PO Box: 183084, Columbus, OH 43218- 3084.

Making payments online can turn out be a nightmare if precautionary steps such as checking the authenticity and the symbol ‘https//’ are not taken care of. There are many fraudulent websites as well, so ensure that you check the spelling of the website address before making your Macy’s credit card payment online.
