Capital One MasterCard is offered by Capital One Small Business. Prestige, Platinum and Rewards credit cards are popular Capital One MasterCards.

Capital One MasterCard: Cards for all

Capital One MasterCard caters to a wide range of customers, irrespective of their credit history. Capital One Platinum and Standard Platinum cards are recommended for low balance and high balance carriers who have an average credit history. People with excellent credit history can opt for the Capital One Platinum Prestige or No Hassle Miles Rewards card.

Features of Capital One MasterCard

Standard features of Capital One Master Cards are:

  • Cash advance APR (Annual Percentage Rate) of 22.9%.

  • Returned pay fee of $39.

  • Over limit fee of $19, $29 or $39, depending on the credit limit. No over limit fee is charged to the holders of No Hassle Miles Rewards.

  • 3% cash advance fee on cash advances of $10 or more.

  • 25-day grace period.

  • Late payment fee of $15, $29 or $39 depending on account balance.
  • Variable Features of Capital One MasterCard

    Purchase and Transfer APR - The APRs mentioned below are subject to change

    • No Hassle Miles Rewards: Charges 0% purchase APR till February 2010 and 13.9% after February 2010. Transfer APR is 13.9 %.

    • Capital One Platinum Prestige: 0% purchase APR till February 2010 and 11.9% after February 2010. This transfer APR is same as the purchase APR.

    • Capital One Standard Platinum: 0% APR till August 2009. The APR will be raised to 22.7% after August 2009. This card offers 22.7% APR on balance transfer.

    • Capital One Platinum: 0% purchase APR till August 2009 and 10.9% after August 2009. Balance transfer APR of 10.9%.

    Transfer Fee- Only the Capital One Platinum Prestige card charges a transfer fee of 3% per transfer. Other cards do not charge any transfer fee.

    Credit Range - The rewards, prestige and platinum cards have a credit range of $500 to $2000. The standard platinum and platinum are available with a credit range of $300 to $3,000.

    How to Apply for Capital One MasterCard

    Canadian residents who have attained majority status and are below 70 years of age are eligible to apply for Capital One MasterCards. Applicants will receive their cards within seven to ten business days after the date of application.
