Canada Savings Bonds

The Canada Savings Bonds issued by the Canada Government provide a safe and secure way of utilizing one's money in order to fructify the investment as well as the savings plans that one has set The Canada Savings Bond or CSB, and the Canada Premium Bond or CPB, are the two types of bonds issued to the people. The Canada Savings Bonds CSB can be redeemed for cash throughout the year, whereas the Canada Savings Bonds CPB can only be exchanged for cash once a year, through the duration of a month commencing on the anniversary of the date of its issuance.

The Canada Savings Bonds issued Canada Premium Bond, has comparatively higher rates of interests attached with them, than the CSB at the time of issuance of the bonds. But these rates are not subject to changes through its term.
